Cody Lucas is an actor, playwright, and director currently living in Chicago. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he received his BA in Theatre Arts. While in college, Lucas co-founded Sundown Collaborative Theatre, a successful non-profit theatre company, and served as Artistic Director for five years.
Throughout his time in DFW, Lucas wrote, directed, produced, and acted in dozens of shows, most notably using all of those skills to take his play Happily Ever After to the New York International Fringe Festival in 2011.
Lucas was most recently seen appearing as Peter Pan in Stage B Theatre Company's Peter Pan: The Boy Who Hated Mothers and The Agency Theater Collective's original show, I Wish to Apologize to the People of Illinois. In March, his original play Sweet Chariot premiered at WaterTower Theatre's Out Of The Loop Fringe Festval. In April, his co-adaptation of Macbeth is slated to be performed at Brookhaven College, directed by Dr. Darise Error.
